Christmas Already?

What on earth is going on? It seems to me that the 'retail christmas' starts earlier and earlier every year, and for this year at least, its official. Dublin has gone festive two weeks early this time round, as christmas lights have been turned on all around town to try and encourage consumer spending at home this year. Galway and Limerick are shortly to follow suit I believe. Whatever about consumer spending, the bright lights have certainly done their job on me and I've come over all merry all too early again this year. Well, as the saying goes, 'If you can't beat them, join them'. And so, on that note, I've loaded christmas carols onto my zen player and started the christmas countdown. Only 36 days to go...



Oh and should I forget: 'Merry Christmas Everyone' :D
